So...I guess I'm back!

Sorry I've kind of fallen off the blog wagon but this year has been crazy busy for me. But now that I've completed my MBA (WAHOOOOOO!!) I can start back up with the things I love, I've already been sewing up a storm and reading like crazy!

But be on the look out for a BIG catch up blog post with all kinds of pictures from this year.

Love ya!

Growing Up...

...is hard for mommy to do! So Aden has been officially moved from the nursery in the daycare to the preschooler area. He now has to take his lunch in a lunch box (Thomas the Tank Engine of course), he is wearing big boy undies, and they have a class pet (a turtle named Little Dude). I can't believe it, he is starting to count, and he even has a favorite song that he sings and requests while riding in the car. It's Life is a Highway by Rascal Flatts, I "had" to buy their greatest hits album so we would have this song on hand at all times. You know when I was up late at night doing 2 am feedings and such nobody told me to enjoy it cause it goes so fast, or maybe I just didn't hear them from the sleep deprivation. Anyways, here is a picture of my little man before school one morning with his new lunch box.

This picture was taken with my cell phone so I'm sorry if the quality is a bit off, I did take some with the normal camera but it seems that (like always) I'm a gigantic chicken without a head running from here to there and I haven't gotten to it yet. Hopefully I will soon because I have a lot of really cute video from Christmas as well.

Aden taking a snooze in Mommy and Daddy's bed Super Bowl Sunday am., he started early (notice the empty bottle of juice! haha)

Merry Christmas!

So Aden is sick right now, he has been since last Wednesday, we've taken samples to the lab, been to the doctors and kept him home for a week now. But still no change, hopefully he'll get better over the break, he's already lost a pound, which is a lot for him. But we are continuing on with our plans and hoping to have a great holiday.

So I know that I won't be able to blog while at home for the Holiday's so I mainly wanted to write a quick note and wish you all the best of everything! May your Christmas be very very Merry and bright!

See you in the new year!

Christma...WHAT?!?

HAHA So this is really funny. Every holiday it seems the daycare that Aden goes to gives us a handmade card (made by my son! so cute!) and a some pictures. Well this Christmas they went all out and put the pictures on a CD, so I have Sep-Dec of pics of Aden doing all kinds of fun school activities. Like riding bikes with his friends.....

"Finger" painting....
Visiting with Smokey the Bear.....
Playing with Bubbles and Boats.......
Making some kind of gigantic mess......

And then I open the next file, which makes me laugh, but it's more of a proud chuckle.

Ladies and Gentlemen.....MY SON!!!

He is all that is man!

House of Cards

So today I was able to get my x-mas cards made and Aden's 2nd birthday party invitations. It was a little tricky but I was able to get the Lightning McQueen and Mater pictures on there, I had to play with photoshop some. I also got the idea for the Christmas card from a card on Shutterfly, but it was cheaper to make it myself and then print it out through Wal-Mart. I know I'm a little late, but I'll get them out. Haha! Anyways here they are!

ENJOY!

Santa 2009

Today, after my horrible final in Quantitative Analysis, we did a TON of Christmas shopping and we ended up on the dead part of the mall and found Santa. There was no line or any other kids, so it was the best opportunity to let Aden tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas. Once again "Aden the ham" cheesed it up and gave us a great picture.

He was saying "CHEESE"

On another note, Jordan and I have concluded that we are not meant to have nice things. Somebody hit my new beautiful Honda Pilot, they must have grazed it while backing out in a parking lot. We were very disappointed when we discovered it, but it can be fixed, so we had to file a police report and we are going to get an estimate on Monday. We are trying to avoid an insurance claim though because our rates already went up from the hail damage this summer, like I said, we aren't meant to have nice things. Sigh.....
